Our collective purpose is to improve the quality of education in our communities through promoting and sustaining the learning of all professionals in schools – at every stage of their careers.
The Exchange Partnership is a professional learning community, a collaboration of educators who share and critically evaluate their practice so that all students can reach their potential. From initial teacher training to executive leader development, our offer is informed by the best available evidence brought to life by the experience, wisdom and credibility of local experts.
Our diverse and inclusive partnership is self-named. It does not prioritise the identity of one trust or school above the other. The principle of ‘exchange’ defines our collective work: put simply, we share the best of what we all know and do for the benefit of children. As leaders, we are committed to providing opportunities for exchange; this means giving time for sharing, learning, developing and evaluating our knowledge, understanding and practice.
Colleagues can benefit from, and contribute to, the partnership in a number of ways, as a participant on one of our programmes, a facilitator contributing to the professional development of others beyond their own setting, or a strategic partner. If you would like more information about any aspect of our work, please get in touch.
We hope you will join us.
Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.
