Our partnership is united by a shared moral purpose: to improve schools in our region.
Great schools need great teachers, leaders and support staff, hence our commitment to improving the recruitment, retention and development of the school workforce. We know that the economic future prosperity of our communities is inextricably linked to children’s aspirations and the quality of education.
Our strategic and operational partners include several multi-academy trusts, local authority schools, faith schools, local authorities, curriculum hubs, teaching school hubs, Initial Teacher Training (ITT) providers, the Research Schools Network, the Education Endowment Foundation, UCL Institute of Education, Best Practice Network and the Department for Education. Our trainee and mentor curriculum, designed and developed with Evidence-Based Education, is underpinned by the Model for Great Teaching – the most recent, full-scale evidence review of what makes great teaching.
A robust leadership and governance structure enables us to not only meet key performance indicators, but also ensures a truly high-quality offer for all stakeholders.
Our diverse and inclusive partnership is self-named. It does not prioritise the identity of one trust or school above the other - including Delta Academies Trust, the founding partner and authority. Colleagues can benefit from, and contribute to, the partnership in a range of ways - as a participant, a facilitator, or a strategic partner.

I was honoured to be included in the initial conversations around the brand development for The Exchange Partnership (TEP) and was at the forefront of contributing to the successful launch, from developing initial conceptual logo ideas, typefaces, colour themes and brand guidelines. Through close collaboration with partners and members of TEP, I ensured that the final brand reflected the collective vision and values of the partnership.

I can honestly say I have found the NPQLT to be one of the most enjoyable CPD experiences I have had in my career, and certainly the most impactful. I use the skills and knowledge developed on the course every day, and will continue to do so for a long time to come!
