Joining Delta Academies Trust (Delta) in January 2020 marked a significant personal and professional transition, relocating from Essex to Yorkshire and delving into the unique challenges and rewards of a Multi-Academy Trust. Leveraging my previous 9 years of marketing and design experience in the education sector, where I led marketing efforts for one school, I quickly acclimated to the Trust's dynamic environment.

I enriched my skillset by completing two apprenticeships during my time at the school: a Level 2 BTEC for business administration and a Level 3 extended diploma in social media marketing. This experience allowed me to seamlessly apply my theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, ultimately preparing me for the complexities of a larger organisation. Additionally, I am self-taught in graphic design which plays a crucial role in crafting engaging user experiences.

At Delta, my role as Communications and Marketing Manager has been instrumental in shaping the Trust's brand identity. I have played a key role in developing not only the Delta brand but also creating other brands from conception to execution. I manage all our websites and Trust social media channels, promote events, showcase achievements through strategic social campaigns, and craft printed materials. I thrive in a fast-paced environment where my skillset demonstrates my ability to adapt creatively to deliver impactful results.

I now have the privilege of mentoring two apprentices, passing on the valuable knowledge I gained through my own learning journey. Witnessing their growth and development is a big perk of the job.

I was honoured to be included in the initial conversations around the brand development for The Exchange Partnership (TEP) and was at the forefront of contributing to the successful launch, from developing initial conceptual logo ideas, typefaces, colour themes and brand guidelines. Through close collaboration with partners and members of TEP, I ensured that the final brand reflected the collective vision and values of the partnership.

My journey with Delta has been a continuous process of growth, learning, and leaving a tangible mark on the organisation. I am excited to continue leveraging my expertise and passion to contribute to the Trust's ongoing success and impactful presence within the educational landscape.
